At a Snail's Pace

As you can see, I've not been burning up the stitching world, nor is my needle smokin'. I don't know what's going on with me. Just a little slump I guess!

Here's a couple digi scrap pages I did of a few beach pics.

And someone asked for a closeup of this pattern from the last post. It's Diane Arthur's Seashell Silhouette by Imaginating. This will most likely be a Christmas present for someone!

Well, that's it for me. I'll do my best to catch up with everyone's blogs. Thank you so much for all the comments and well wishes. It makes my day to read them and I want to return the favor. Take care all, and I wish you a productive and FABU stitchy week! Send me some "get out of your funk and do something with yourself" vibes if you can......... :p 'Till next time,

  2. Oh, Tammy, thanks for the offer of the magazine but I've decided to put it off for about 10 years, especially since I've just gotten started on another huge project. What was I thinking? Anyway, glad you're back, even if your needle isn't smoking. And thanks for the bigger picture of the shell pattern--that's really cute! And I think a lot of stitchers are in late-summer stitching doldrums.

  3. Sending you some anti-funk vibes, but I think it's probably the weather. Too hot to stitch!

  4. I so understand the slump your in. It must be a summer thing!
Love the photos of your vacation. The pages are perfect! I haven't tried the digiscrap yet, but I am so interested in it. It has to be easier than getting all that mess out! I really like the picture with you and your son. So cute!
Anyhoo, I think the stitching you've done so far is looking great. Enjoy your summer.

  10. You're not alone, girl. Every summer I'm in a kind of stitching slump and all my stitching slows down a lot. But that will go away ...

  12. Sorry to hear about the funk, I wonder if it is the season or weather or something, seems to be a lot of it going around. Hope it changes for you shortly. Your little fairy is looking cute. Even if she's not moving as quick as you'd like, at least she's moving. Have a good weekend.

  17. I just found your blog and it is wonderful. I live near Ocean City and in the winter I go to salty yarns at least once a week. Also my mom also stitched the seashell piece that you stitched and she used it as a Christmas present too. :)
    Happy stitching!

  20. I'm glad you're out of the hospital and doing better. Don't worry about the slump; we all have them once in a while. You might not have progressed far on your cute little witch, but those scrap pages are wonderful!
