Yoyo's tip on reinforcing at the corner is a good idea, something I learned in sewing garments.

Did you sew it together and then whip stitch the beads on or whip stitch it right from the beginning? But sometimes if you have a heavy fabric and really are having a little trouble turning them you can: 1. put about three stitches on the diagonal above the corner and make sure your thread is secure. This will keep your very small seam allowance from fraying. 2. Then cut the fabric at the corners DIAGONALLY across the corner. That should eliminate most of the bulk and make it a lot easier when putting the ornament together.

Looks to me though, like you are getting pretty good at this...WOWZERS you go girl.Yoyohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14230651257160627560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7678904437450117860.post-44320865629321835582009-03-01T01:00:00.000-05:002009-03-01T01:00:00.000-05:00I think your finishing is just lovely--I don't see...I think your finishing is just lovely--I don't see any problem. I know when I'm turning corners when I sew that I clip the seam allowance close to the stitching to eliminate the bulk. Not sure if that's what you meant, but in any case no one could tell that you had any difficulty, because it looks perfectly finished to me. Hmmm--I always vote for a new start.
