"Oh heaven preserve us from a wife with fancy work run wild. With hands that never do aught else for husband or for child. Our clothes are rent, our bills unpaid, our house is in disorder, and all because my lady wife has taken to embroider." -Anon
I read your post earlier and hadn't got the chance to comment.I think that it is important that we always remember.I think we can all say that some part of our lives changed that day.It was my sister's b-day and now she tries to do something for others as a birthday gift to herself.I got good news at the eye docs today by the way. Thanks for your kind commnet ;)
I've been married 37 years, have one amazing son, one awesome daughter in law, and one little doggie (in my heart forever now). I've been stitching for over 30 years and it's my favorite hobby. I also sew, crochet, quilt, scrapbook, make jewelry, and do lots of generally crafty things. Thanks for looking at my blog.
