I finished this one last night. Just a few days beyond Halloween, but a finish nontheless!
This was a really fun stitch! Don't know if I'll make the pocket for it, but I'll either do that or frame it. It'll be ahead of the game for next Halloween!
We were threatened with tornado warnings and severe thunderstorms on Halloween night, but amazingly, it held off until after all the kids (over 700!) were done TOT'ing.
And Halloween wouldn't be complete without some Halloween food. I made turkey chili, mummy dogs, and skull cakes.
The weather is turning proper chilly and I love it. I love all the seasons, and I'm so fortunate to live somewhere where there is a clear demarcation in the seasons. Fall is my favorite and it's in full swing! See you soon with a new start!
Until then,
Advent day 21

Love the little stitchy finish :-) We didn't get one trick or treater this year, although there are not so many kids on our estate. Love those skull cakes and the mummy dogs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Maggie! My mom doesn't get many at her place either. The cakes and dogs were great!
DeleteOct 31st looks great.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a LOT of TOT's!
Gotta love those skull cakes.

Thank you Marilyn! That IS a lot, but not our biggest year ever-the first year we had here, we had nearly 1,000!
DeleteTammy, congratulations on your finish! What fun treats you created for your Halloween meal! Your jack 'o lanterns looks super as does the front of your house with its lights. No trick or treaters here and trick or trunk was postponed to Friday due to the winds, rains, and warnings! Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin! We thought the storm would move in, but it waited until about 9pm, which was perfect. Sorry to hear yours was postponed!
