She's coming along, even though she's been neglected for a few days. Seems I have a few days after the start of school that I just spin my wheels so to speak because so much needs done and I just kind of ponder it, instead of doing something about it. Yeah, it's a problem. :p
I have several goals for the rest of the year. More stitching of course, more reading, feeding my family more homecooked meals. But if I cook more, isn't that less stitching time? See what I mean? Spinning wheels I tell ya.
I hope everyone has a great stitchy week!
Not what I was expecting

What little gain I've made in cooking makes me feel highly accomplished! HAHA This month... not so much.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain...home cooked meals??? whad that?...
ReplyDeleteYour little witchy is adorable...love the pattern!! I hate to cook by the way!
ReplyDeleteI think it just takes awhile to get into the groove of things.
ReplyDeleteLovely witchy : )

I try on the home cooked meals, happens about 4 times per week. The other days are fend for yourself! Hahaha, but I do have teens that can cook up something if they were starving!

Your witch is coming along great...very cute! Speaking of cooking, I made this delicious chocolate chip cookie "cake" and it was gone in a day. Your boys would love it I'm sure...if they like chocolate chip cookies. Happy stitching, Tam!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. More homecooked meals is a great idea until I realize-hey, that means more time in the kitchen and less time in my stitching chair. Every day I give myself the little lecture about how I should have brought my lunch to work instead of buying something in DC, and then I think--yeah, but I'd have to think of something, buy the ingredients for it, put them together and remember to put them in the fridge at work so I don't kill myself with my own poison lunch. Much easier to starve and stitch probably.
ReplyDeleteLove the little witch.
Little witch is looking quite cute, and I think you've made nice headway, more than I've been making on my projects lately. Good luck with trying to find a balance between everything, there just aren't enough hours in the day for stitching, reading, cooking, and all.
