This snow is glorious! You have to understand my excitement here--we've not had this much snow in THIRTEEN years! Yep, since 1996. I was pregnant last time it snowed like this, lol. And now, he's nearly a teenager. I really would love to move somewhere where it was like this for a couple months of the year. It's not gotten above 25 degrees or so today, and yet, it's going to be SIXTY FIVE this weekend! Ahhhh, Virginia in winter. You never know if you need flip flops or snow boots.........
Now, I need to find something to stitch. Have a great night!
Ah, enjoy your rare snow. We usually get a little but none so far this year. I'm so jealous!
ReplyDeleteWell it is nice if you are living it that you enjoy it....but keep it there please, I'm trying to think Spring!
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous! Ours barely covered the ground and everything was so wet from all the previous rain. What's been falling later today has been fluffier though.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty! We didn't get any snow this time. We just got really really cold!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not happy about the snow! I want spring. I almost got into an accident as I was pulling into the neighborhood. *UGH*
ReplyDeleteAt least I can thaw out this weekend. BTW I went to Celeste's and got the fabric and thread for Flora before the snow started! This will be a fun one to stitch.
;)
It was really pretty--and other than the shoveling because we have to get out tomorrow morning, it was really restful, just going from window to window gazing out. I lived in Vermont for a while--now that was some snow--but this was perfect--not too much. And I didn't know the weekend was supposed to be warm! Figures!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a winter wonderland. I love your shed too! So cute. Enjoy the snow while it lasts. :)
ReplyDeleteWaow!!! it's so beautiful !!! It's so relaxing to see snow scenes (but I don't like to drive on the snw .... )
ReplyDeletePierre was born in 96 too.
I love snow when no one has walked on it yet. It's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the lake.
Your pictures are gorgeous! I love the sight (and, I must admit, the smell - as weird as it sounds - of new snow), even though it's nothing to get excited about up here!

The pictures looks so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need snowboots in this, lol.
ReplyDeleteI love to look at snow and if I could hibernate in my house during the winter I would even love it more. But driving in it is quite a different thing, lol.
Enjoy your snow before you need flip flops again.
Your house looks really pretty with all the snow!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, it is a bit weird for me when someone says that THAT is a lot of snow. ;) We have, in my part of the world, about three times that at the moment. ;)
PS. Very pretty stitching and stash lately!
Tammy, thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. I wanted to ask you though, you didn't make it clear if you want to join the Totally Useless SAL. I kinda of thought yes, but then I really wasn't sure. We would love to have you, and it really puts no 'extra' stress on your busy stitching schedule. Do let me know and if yes, I'll get you added to the list.

I did notice your sheep the other day. They are so adorable, and Star Sapphire is my favorite color. I can see why you enjoy the little snow that you do get but I'll send you some of ours. Way to much snow in Maine this year.
ReplyDeletePretty pretty snow, I love it too. My knids get a kick out of me acting like a little kid everytime we get a measureable amount.
ReplyDeleteI love the Santa Corn ornie. I think the corners looks great.
I say start something new, hehe
The snow sure is pretty, but for me it's best if I don't have to go out in it unless I want to! After this winter, I'm seriously wanting a warmer place to live :)
ReplyDeletePeople think I'm nuts because I LOVE the sonw. If I had it my way, I'd be around it 24/7! Beautiful pictures Tammy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment about my star. Hope you downloaded the free chart. I also made that star into an ornament and will be posting it soon on the Xmas Challenge. I invite you to be a follower.
ReplyDeleteLove all the snow and the backyard, love your jingle bells stitching from 3 posts ago. Adorable amd quaint.
Dear Girl!!! The Totally Useless SAL is about what we are stitching much more than about what's in the jar (LOL). I love your stitching. I really enjoy your blog....that's what we're are sharing, our love of stitching and blogging. Do think about it again and maybe join us in the TUSAL. We really would enjoy your company and you do certainly stitch on some 'interesting' things.
